We hope you will enjoy your tv for pc viewing experience. We have spent thousands of hours developing this program to provide you with the best Internet TV you will find. We have thousands of TV channels and Radio Stations for you to choose from in many countries from around the world.

We are adding more channels everyday and you will notice the networks we provide will just keep growing. The amount of TV channels we actually provide to date is around 15,000 +. However after taking into account duplicate channels on networks and viewers the actual amount of TV channels for your PC is around 9,000. The amount of Radio stations is well over 13,000.

You will see channels that are Live!, Recorded or VOD (Video On Demand). We have some of the most popular channels and many channels that you have never heard of from all over the world. Don't hesitate to explore all of the channels we provide as you will find some great entertainment. Feel free to look at some of the TV channels from the different countries as many of these TV channel providers in different countries will broadcast popular channels from your country in your language. One of the compliments we receive is that members are so amazed with some of the great programming we offer, that many end up finding favorite channels they never knew existed. You know we have a lot of TV channels when we have stations dedicated to only surfing, cycling, sailing, arts & crafts, and more.


Members Program Layout and How To Locate Channels

We have broke this down into four viewing options:

1. Channel Viewers
All of the 9,000 channels are located on 4 channel viewers we provide. These will require you to download these viewers individually. We will provide you with detailed instructions for downloading and viewing.

2. Easy Connect
We will provide you with an easy connect direct viewing option. A list of the most popular channels will be available for quick viewing. You simply login and click on your favorite channel if available. This is perfect for the person who may be mobile with their laptop and does not have the time to download the channel viewers. These Easy Connect channels can be found in the top menu bar at the top of this members' page. You can also find these channels on the Easy Connect page.

3. LIVE! Sports
You will be able to see currently listings of all the days sports events. We have dedicated this sections for live NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, cricket matches, golf tournaments, rugby, car racing, soccer from all over the world, NASCAR Live, and so much more. Just click on our special links provided in this area to see the current live sporting events.

4. VOD (Video on Demand)
You will see we will provide this special section for members to watch a movie or favorite TV show. We will have thousands of movies and TV shows available for you to view when you want. Just select the movie or TV show and play.

MEMBERS' BONUSES
We will provide all the members' bonuses for you to download in this area along with instructions on how to use the software as needed.

Tip:
Most of these will requires downloads to use special viewers we provide. We suggest to not try to master all of these at once. Take a look at each viewer and see what channels and features you like the best and make your choice from there. If you decide you would like to download ALL of the viewers we provide; we suggest to create a special folder on your desktop of your computer and name it "PCTV" or something you will recognize. You then can download all the viewers into this file for easy access and organized.

Picture Quality
There are three primary factors that will effect the picture quality of the TV channels we provide. Here they are in the order of importance:
1. Your Computer's Hardware: Quality of graphics card (most important), monitor (computer screen), available hard disk space and amount of memory.

2. Internet Connection: Broadband is important and the speeds of your service, but more important is the ISP (Internet Service Provider). Many ISPs have servicing issues, and if you currently have connection issues with your ISP then you can experience some connecting and viewing issues.

3. Channel Providers: You will see variations in quality and it is based on the channel provider. Sometimes the broadcasts can get distorted by the way the TV channel providers send the stream over the Internet.

System Requirements/Needed Software

The following is the minimum requirements to use all this programs features:

OPERATING SYSTEM:
Windows XP (Professional or Home edition), Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows95, Windows98, or Vista Home or Professional Platforms. MAC users will need to have a current OS X version with .exe download abilities. (Currently we do not provide the client on Unix or Linux Platform).

COMPUTER HARDWARE:
At least 64M System Memory, 128M System Memory is recommended.

At least 10M Hard disk space.

SOFTWARE:
1) Microsoft Media Player 10 or higher
2) RealPlayer 6 or higher
3) Quicktime Media Player
4) .Net Framework 1.1 or higher

You may skip these downloads if you believe your computer is already up to date. If you do have any problems with viewing the TV channels we then would suggest to come back and download the above software as needed.








1.DIRECT-PC TV
Channel Viewers

The 9,000 channels will be located on the following 4 channel viewers below. These viewers are designed to stop working after a period of time. When the viewer expires you may come back and download the updated current version we have listed as long as you are a member of DIRECT-PCTV. To delete old version before updating with newer version you can go to "Remove Software" in "Control Panel" of Windows and select the program to uninstall.

1. You can download one channel viewer at a time to see the programming available, or download them all if you choose.
2. You are allowed to download on up to six (6) computers or laptops with your one membership. If these are loaded on too many computers under different IP addresses it could render your login inactive for fraud protection. So be careful to only download to the allotted amount of computers.

3. If your channel viewer goes inactive at anytime, come back to members' area to get the updated viewers. We will change these from time to time to avoid fraud.

4. If you are looking for a particular channel, try using the search function in your browser (normally ctrl-F) then type in the channel you are looking for and search. You will be directed to the program that contains that particular channel. Many of these channel viewers will automatically update the channels. These programs are pre-scanned for virus and spyware.


5. Allow a few minutes to let certain channels to buffer and download. Especially the live channels can take up to ten minutes to load. Sometimes connections are very slow and it can take a while before a channel works. In some cases the channel won't load at all. Carefully read the error message and most important: be patient.

6. If you see a channel you like and it is not currently airing, then you can try another channel viewer to see if it is airing on that viewer. Don't forget that the live Internet television depends on the origin and not on the software that displays the TV images. Some stations can be off line temporarily or with too many connections, not all stations have a 24 Hours schedule. If you are receiving error messages on certain station please try later.


7. You will want to use the .exe file download extension or simply click on the If you have any problems with downloading using this button, then we suggest using the .ZIP files we provide as an alternative. You will then unzip the files and download to your computer.

Note: ITV Player is currenty only available as a ZIP download file.

8. Make sure your Firewall is not blocking the downloads or the streaming media. If using at workplace, some Firewalls that may be set up on your computer (used in Networks) make it impossible to receive streaming media. Ask your Network administrator for more info.

We suggest to reboot your computer after each download if you are having problems connecting to viewer or channels.





UPDATE: 3/4/09 - SOME OF THESE CHANNELS ARE MOVING SERVERS FOR THE ANALOG TO DIGITAL SWITCH. YOU MAY FIND SOME CHANNELS NOT AVAILABLE BETWEEN THE DATES 1/17/09 to 3/31/09. THE ORIGINAL DATE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE 2/28/09 FOR COMPLETION, BUT THE NETWORKS CONFIRMED IT WILL BE THE END OF MARCH. Description: TVU Player is a Video Player that enables you to view a variety of free TV stations that are broadcasted over the Internet. You can add channels to a list of favorites and also switch to a borderless 800x600 video display size. Although they will have up to 2500 total channels, TVU usually will only air around 200 to 300 at a time. This viewer will automatically update channel lists as they channels go on and off the air.

How to Use TVU Player
To open up the channel viewer, click on the TVU Player Icon. After you have opened up TVU Player all of the current channels will be listed. Because TVU Player updates automatically, you may see 20 channels and movies or 2500 channels and movies as they are airing.

Viewing in Full Screen
To view TV screen in FULL SCREEN, click the "FULL VIEW" button located on the viewer. TVU will adjust the screen to meet your current computer graphics cards ability. So if you have a very good graphics card this may open up to a complete full screen. To go back to original screen size, click the "FULL VIEW" button located in the video player.

Not all channels will be broadcasting 24 hours. Channels are being added daily to this viewer. If you find a channel is not available you can try back later or locate the channel on one of the other viewers we provide.

Downloading Instructions

How to Use ITV
To open up the channel viewer, click on the JLC ITV Icon. This viewer will list ALL the channels available by default. You will have the ability to search by country to refine your channel search. ITV will plave a check mark by the current channels that are on the air, and an X by the channels that are off the air at the moment.

Viewing in Full Screen
To view TV screen in FULL SCREEN, double click your mouse on top of the video that is playing. To go back to original screen size, click the "Esc" (Escape) button on your keyboard.

IMPORTANT: When you open viewer you will see movies and videos presented on main screen. Most are free but some are advertisements and cost extra. Do not purchase anything as we present you with many other options to download and watch movies with our service.

3) After you have closed you Internet browsers. Open the file, click "RUN." Then select your language for downloading. Click "NEXT" until download is complete.

When you login to SOP Cast it will automatically default to username and password which is already assigned Anonymous pre-set by our service. You do not need to create an account.

How to Use SOP Cast
After you have opened up SOP Cast you will be greeted by the main site page. You can choose from the menu tabs located at the top of player: LIVE CHANNELS, or VOD CHANNELS. If you select ALL CHANNELS you will get a list of all the current channels available. The same goes if you select the VOD CHANNELS.

Viewing in Full Screen
To view TV screen in FULL SCREEN, click the full screen icon button located on the viewer. SOP CAST will adjust the screen to meet your current computer graphics cards ability. So if you have a very good graphics card this may open up to a complete full screen. To go back to original screen size, click the full screen icon button located in the video player.

Some of the movies will have advertisements sometimes in different languages when the opening credits are being shown. These advertisements will go away once the movie starts.

All movies are presented in English. Some may have subtitles in other languages.

Step 1

Here are the step by step instructions to download movies, TV shows, music, games and much more.

Step 2 - Click "SAVE" ---> this will start the downloading to your computer ("OPEN" ---> This will automatically start the installation after downloading).

Step 3 - Once the download is completed, double-click on the installer ".exe" to start the installation.

Step 4 - You will find a shortcut icon on your desktop once installed (if you chose to create one).

Download to your desktop or a location on your computer for easy access. Once download click and run the installation to your computer.

Open the ARES software and it will look like the screen below:





Search & Download Movies, Music, Games, TV Shows, etc.

Search:
After installing Ares Ultra, use the search engines provided with the software (left tab) to search for your titles.



Download:
Once the search has complete, simply click on the file you wish to download.

Here are the step by step instructions to download movies, music, TV shows and much more.

Step 1 - Double-click the icon to start the software.

Step 2 - Make sure that you are properly connected to the Internet.

Step 3 - Let the software connect to the network (If the software does not connect please make sure that no firewall is enabled).

Step 4 - Click on the "Search" tab which is at the top of the window.

Step 5 - Type in the name of the file you wish to search for in the search field.

Step 6 - You can also check one of the buttons beneath the search field to filter unwanted types of files (to further filter your search, use the Advance search option).

Step 7 - Click the "Search" button.

Step 8 - The result(s) will appear on the screen.

Step 9 - If you want to download a file, double-click on the file and the download will start.

Step 10- To view the progress of the download, click on the "Transfer" tab on the top toolbar.

Step 11 - When the download is completed, you can click on the "Locate file" icon in the "Transfer" tab that will open your shared folder, where you will find your downloaded file.

Step 12 - To play the file, either double-click on the file to start playing, or right click on it to get a "play" option.


Locate:
When your download is complete, simply locate the movie file (.mpg, .avi, .mov...) in your Downloads folder and play the Movie on your computer.
